Kanye West, Kings of Leon to Headline Jay Z’s Made in America Festival

Newly bi-coastal music event will take place Aug. 30-31

Perennial loudmouth and rapper Kanye West and “Sex on Fire” rockers Kings of Leon have been tapped to headline the Philadelphia arm of this year’s Made in America festival, according to the concert’s Facebook page.

The lineup also includes Tiesto, the National, Steve Aoki, upcoming “Voice” coach Pharrell Williams, Girl Talk, Spoon, Chromeo and Grimes.

The festival, which was launched by rapper Jay Z in 2012, will be held at Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia on Aug. 30-31.

This year will also include a Los Angeles festival to be held on the same dates, though the lineup for the L.A. arm has not yet been announced.

The Los Angeles festival will be held at Grand Park, adjacent to City Hall.

Past performers at the Made in America festival have included Beyonce, Pearl Jam and Nine Inch Nails.
