‘Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle’ Sets Exclusive Early Screening for Amazon Prime Members

Prime members can buy up to ten tickets, with the Dwayne Johnson adventure-comedy to play more than 1,000 theaters nationwide on Dec. 8

12 days before the film’s scheduled wide release, Amazon Prime members are getting a multi-city, one day-only exclusive early screening of “Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle.”

The early showings will take place Dec. 8 at 7:00 p.m. local time in more than 1,000 Regal, AMC, ArcLight Cinemas, and National Amusements theaters nationwide. Prime members will be able to purchase up to 10 tickets, beginning today at www.amazon.com/Jumanji.

The Prime-exclusive early screening is the first of its kind for the streaming service. At a limited number of theaters participating in the event, Prime members will receive a ‘blue carpet’ experience, in which they’ll have the opportunity to receive devices using Amazon’s Prime Now delivery service, a Jumanji themed photo booth, gift bags, Whole Foods gift cards, and other giveaways and promotions to be announced.

A sequel to the 1995 film “Jumanji” that updates the original board game concept, “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” sees four teenagers sucked into a video game world they must play through to the end in order to survive. Directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers and Scott Rosenberg & Jeff Pinkner, Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan star.

“Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” hits theaters Dec. 20.
