The 2019 Sundance Film Festival is creeping up on us, and major stars and filmmakers will head to Park City, Utah in January as competitive films and world premieres begin their roll-outs.
Films in the U.S. Dramatic Competition announced on Wednesday include Shia LaBeouf’s “Honey Boy,” which stars Lucas Hedges as a young version of LaBeouf, Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer’s “Luce,” “The Sound of Silence” starring Peter Sarsgaard and Rashida Jones, “Them That Follow” starring Olivia Colman and Jim Gaffigan and Malin Ackerman and Tony Hale’s “To The Stars.”
“Crazy Rich Asians” star Awkwafina will appear in two movies heading to Sundance, including Lulu Wang’s “The Farewell” and “Paradise Hills,” with the latter also featuring Eiza Gonzalez, Milla Jovovich and Emma Roberts.
