Josh Henderson, who played John Ross Ewing on TNT’s “Dallas” reboot, marked the anniversary of his TV dad Larry Hagman‘s death with a touching Facebook tribute Sunday.

“Remembering the one and only Larry Hagman on the second anniversary of his passing. There will never be another JR Ewing, we were all blessed to work with him, experience him, and know him. Miss you pops!” Henderson posted along with several photos of the two together on set.

Hagman, who played evil oil baron J.R. Ewing, died on Nov. 23, 2012. He was 81.

The actor reprised his role as J.R. in the TNT revival, which premiered in 2012 and ran for three seasons, before it was canceled last month.

The reboot also starred Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray, from the original CBS series which aired from 1978-1991.
