Breakout filmmaking sensation Jordan Peele, reigning Best Director Oscar winner Damien Chazelle and icon Oprah Winfrey lead an impressive pack of speakers for the 2017 Produced By Conference.
The annual Los Angeles get-together from the Producer’s Guild of America brings together content-makers to talk challenges, network and take victory laps — this year at the 20th Century Fox, from June 10-11.
Those luminaries will be joined by Oscar-nominated director Ava DuVernay, Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos, and 21 Laps Entertainment Founder Shawn Levy.
Peele will sit for a breakout conversation on his racial horror phenomenon “Get Out,” his Peabody Award-winning Comedy Central series with Keegan-Michael Key and the future of his Monkeypaw Productions.
Oprah and DuVernay will talk their creative partnership as executive producers on the critically-acclaimed OWN series “Queen Sugar,” and other topics like leadership in a changing media landscape.
Levy and 21 Laps principals Dan Cohen and Dan Levine (fresh off “Arrival”), Chazelle and Sarandos will also discuss their respective gigs and the industry at large.
