Jon Stewart better get ready to rumble.
The “Daily Show” host was closing out Thursday’s show with his traditional Moment of Zen when suddenly he was interrupted by WWE wrestler Seth Rollins.
“Bring it,” the wrestler said while appearing right behind the comedian.
Stewart seemed happy to comply, but added, “Unfortunately, I don’t have it with me right now.”
The two have engaged in a war of words on social media ever since Rollins insulted Stewart on WWE’s “Monday Night Raw.”
Rollins upped the ante on Thursday by challenging Stewart to appear on the next episode of “Raw,” which will be filmed in Newark, New Jersey. Stewart once again acted tough before quickly faking a back injury. He tried to quickly slink off stage before jumping Rollins from behind and attempting to sink in a head lock.
Stewart announced on February 10 that he will exit “The Daily Show” sometime this year. If he starts training now, he just might have a shot at appearing on this year’s Wrestlemania.
