The lawsuit against John Travolta that was filed by a masseur who claimed that the "Pulp Fiction" actor acted inappropriately during a massage could be resolved outside of public scrutiny.
The attorney for the anonymous plaintiff confirmed to TheWrap that he and his client are proposing a trial before a private judge, with the records sealed and the results being kept confidential.

However, the plaintiff's attorney, Okorie Okorocha, stresses that the legal proceeding will not be a mediation.
"We are proposing a full trial that will be a fight like no other," Okorocha told TheWrap. "But, the public will not see it."

It remains to be seen whether Travolta's team will approve of the proposal, however; the actor's attorney, Martin Singer, has not yet responded to TheWrap's request for comment.
The plaintiff, identified as John Doe #2 in the suit, claims that Travolta grabbed, rubbed and caressed his buttocks and upper thighs during a Jan. 28 massage at an Atlanta resort. The suit goes on to claim that the actor began masturbating with about 15 minutes left in the session.

Claiming assault, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, the plaintiff is seeking $2 million.
John Doe #2's complaint came on the heels of an initial suit filed by another masseuse, who made similar allegations against Travolta. The first plaintiff, who also filed anonymously, claimed that Travolta had acted inappropriately during a Jan. 16 massage at the Beverly Hills hotel.
However, photographs and a restaurant receipt place the actor in New York at the time of that alleged incident.
It is not known whether the first masseuse — who was also seeking $2 million — will continue with his legal proceeding. Okorocha, who is also the first masseuse's attorney, told TheWrap last week that he is no longer representing him.
Travolta's lawyer Singer has adamantly denied the claims of both men.
