‘Law & Order: SVU’ – John Stamos & Terrence Howard to Guest Star, Jeremy Irons Returns

NBC’s crime drama brings in some big names to bolster its season

John Stamos might or might not be poised to replace Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men," but the "Full House" star is keeping busy either way.

NBC announced on Friday that Stamos will guest-star on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," as "an adoption attorney with a secret passion." Joining Stamos on the episode will be "Fame" and "Footloose" actress Lori Singer, who will portray "a new mother who is struggling with her increased responsibilities," according to NBC.

The air date for Stamos and Singer's episode, which will be titled "Bang," was not divulged.

Stamos' recent television appearances include a recurring role as a dentist on Fox's hit musical series "Glee" and a 2010 cameo on "Entourage."

Also making a guest appearance on "SVU" this season: "Hustle & Flow" actor Terrence Howard. Howard's guest spot, titled "Reparations," will be "part of a crossover episode between 'Law & Order: Los Angeles' and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,'” NBC announced.

In addition, Jeremy Irons will reprise his role as psychologist Captain Jackson from earlier this season in the upcoming episode "Totem," which in a series first, the episode will feature a female perpetrator responsible for sodomizing and murdering her victim.
