John Stamos will join the cast of Ryan Murphy‘s “Scream Queens” for Season 2.

The casting means Stamos will continue to call Fox home next season, after the cancellation of his comedy “Grandfathered” last month. Stamos joins a class that includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Billie Lourd, Niecy Nash and Glen Powell.

The Ryan Murphy horror-comedy will relocate the characters from Season 1’s sorority house to a hospital for Season 2. Stamos will play the hospital’s brilliant but secretive head surgeon Dr. Brock Holt.

The project reunites Stamos with Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, whom he previously worked with on Fox’s “Glee” and NBC’s “The New Normal.” Stamos currently also serves as executive producer on Netflix’s “Fuller House,” on which he also recurs, reprising his role from the original sitcom.

Earlier today, Fox announced its fall premiere dates, with “Scream Queens” set to return on Tuesday, September 20.
