John Oliver: Congress ‘May Just Become the English Language’s Most Offensive C-word’ (Video)

Though it will have to contend with "cronut"

John Oliver congratulated Congress on Wednesday night for having such a low approval rating that it "may just become the English language's most offensive C-word."

Then again, there's still the real C-word. Also, there's "cronut" — a real contender in Oliver's mind.

The fill-in "Daily Show" host cited the debate over the immigration bill to show how ridiculous Congress can be. Though, Rep. Steve King (R) of Iowa did most of the legwork for him.

King, speaking about Mexican immigrants, said, "For every one who's a Valedictorian, there's another hundred out there that weighs 130 lbs. and they've got calves the size of cantaloupes because they're hauling 75 lbs. of marijuana across the desert."

Yes, that was actually said, and Oliver didn't even know where to begin unraveling that statement.
