WWE wrestler John Cena has officially endorsed Jimmy Kimmel for Vice President of the United States, describing him as a “great candidate and an even greater man.”
Kimmel introduced Cena after claiming Oprah Winfrey, L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, the president of CVS drugstores, Rob Gronkowski and Courtney Love have all endorsed him since he announced his plans to run in May. Cena took to the podium wearing a grey suit and aggressively endorsed the host for V.P.
“I don’t think this audience or the people at home realize what a big-ass accomplishment this is,” he said, adding that Kimmel is a “great candidate, and an even greater man.”
After Kimmel told him his show reaches 2 million to 30 million people, Cena claimed that Kimmel is the all-around perfect American.
“This man entertains millions of people, pays his taxes, eats hot dogs and lights off fireworks with his teeth! It doesn’t get more American than that!”
“This is our man, Jimmy Jefferson Kimmel, the next vice president of the United States of America! … If you don’t vote for Jimmy Kimmel for V.P., I will personally give each and every one of you the attitude adjustment that you deserve!”
Cena then picked up the podium and destroyed it, to which Kimmel added, “that seemed unnecessary to me…”
