The Directors Guild of America announced its television, commercial and documentary nominations on Wednesday, with Jodie Foster receiving a pair of nods for directing episodes of the drama series “House of Cards” and the comedy series “Orange Is the New Black.”

The Oscar-winning actress is the only director to be nominated in both the drama and comedy categories. In drama, she will be competing with Dan Attias and Lesli Linka Glatter for two different episodes of “Homeland,” Cary Joji Fukunaga for “True Detective” and Alex Graves for “Game of Thrones.”

In comedy, the other nominees are Louis C.K. for “Louie,” Mike Judge for “Silicon Valley,” Gail Mancuso for “Modern Family” and Jill Soloway for “Transparent.”

The movie-or-miniseries category finds feature-film director Lisa Cholodenko,  who came to HBO to make the miniseries “Olive Kitteridge,” going up against Ryan Murphy for “The Normal Heart,” Michael Wilson for “The Trip to Bountiful,” Uli Edel for “Houdini” and Rob Ashford and Glenn Weiss for “Peter Pan Live!”

In the DGA’s feature documentary category, the nominees are all first-time DGA nominees, and all on the Oscar documentary shortlist: Laura Poitras for “Citizenfour,” Orlando von Einsedel for “Virunga,” John Maloof and Charlie Siskel for “Finding Vivian Maier,” Jesse Moss for “The Overnighters” and Dan Krauss for “The Kill Team.”

The 67th Annual Directors Guild Awards will take place on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Jane Lynch will host the show, which will also include a presentation of the guild’s first Lifetime Achievement Award in Television to James Burrows and Robert Butler.
