Jimmy Kimmel thinks President Donald Trump’s border wall may have a slightly different purpose during his second administration.

“[Vice President JD Vance] said that Trump still wants to finish that wall he campaigned on the first time. We’re back on that again,” Kimmel said on Thursday night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “I don’t think we need to finish the wall. It feels like this administration is already doing a pretty good job of making sure no one wants to live here. They might have to build a wall to keep us in at this point.”

The border wall may feel like a throwback to a somehow less chaotic time, but it’s in the news again because of a visit Vance made to the U.S.-Mexico
