Thor is a Norse god who wields a powerful hammer, and Weather Channel personalities talking about the winter storm named after him aren’t letting their viewers forget it.
Jimmy Kimmel entertained his viewers on Thursday by showing far too many instances of the network’s team of anchors and correspondents covering “Winter Storm Thor” making hammer puns.
“One good thing about The Weather Channel with these dumb storm names they give is it really gives their anchor people a chance to spread their creative wings,” Kimmel said.
