Jimmy Kimmel is taking his ABC late-night series on the road again, this time to his other hometown, Las Vegas.

Yup, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” will head to Sin City to shoot five original shows starting April 1, Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment, announced during her executive session at the Television Critics Association’s press tour Tuesday.

Kimmel’s return to the Nevada city where he spent much of his childhood is not the first time he’s brought his Los Angeles-based late-night broadcast to his old stomping grounds for a batch of episodes — but it’s the first time he’s taken it to Vegas.

The host has previously taken his show to Brooklyn (four times), where he was born, to shoot in front of a live studio audience at Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House, inviting guests like Adam Sandler, John Krasinski, Cardi B, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Mike Birbiglia, David Letterman, Howard Stern, Tracy Morgan, Bill Murray, Michael J. Fox, Chris Rock, Misty Copeland, Alicia Keys, and Jay Z to join him.

Kimmel and Jill Leiderman serve as executive producers on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” with David Craig, Douglas DeLuca, Erin Irwin, Molly McNearney and Jennifer Sharron acting as co-executive producers on the late-night series.
