Jimmy Fallon, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Weird Al Lose Control in ‘Hamilton Polka’ Lip Sync (Video)

“Bohemian Rhapsody” head-bangings ain’t got nothin’ on this

Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jimmy Fallon were giddy beyond belief when they got the chance to nerd-out over Weird Al Yankovic and join him in a lip sync of “The Hamilton Polka” on Friday’s “Tonight Show.”

“It is so intricate, it’s complex, it has every single thing that if you are a fan of ‘Weird Al’… like there’s a side whistle, there’s a duck quack, there’s a ‘pew!’ cartoon sound effects,” Fallon said of the polka, which was released at midnight on Friday. “It’s so great, the polka’s great, the harmony’s great, you’re rapping is great. This must be the most intricate thing you’ve ever done.”

OK, we’re about to say something blasphemous, but it’s on behalf of the Church of Al, so we hope you’ll forgive us: the spontaneous lip sync the boys performed to said polka rivals the “Bohemian Rhapsody” head-banging scene in “Wayne’s World.”

Now that we’ve gotten that out, see for yourself and you be the judge. Watch the full lip sync above and see more of the interview below.
