Helen Hunt join Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” Friday and started the Cinco de Mayo celebration early with a game of beer pong and tequila shots.
Fallon explained that first to sink two balls in their opponent’s cup was the winner. “There’s a twist,” he said. “This was Helen’s idea, by the way. The loser does a shot of tequila.”
The actress, stopping by to promote her new film “Ride,” and Fallon took their places on opposite sides of the ping pong table and began the game. Fallon started off strong, sinking his first shot with ease.
“I see now that I’ve walked into a terrible set up,” Hunt said after chugging her first drink. “I’m already drunk,” she said. In terms of strategy, Fallon used the classic overhand arc shot, while Hunt attempted to bounce her ping pong balls into the cups.
At the end of the game, in the spirit of sportsmanship, both competitors downed a shot of tequila. “Helen Hunt‘s my best friend,” Fallon slurred after taking the shot. “Am I a pretty boy?” he asked her.
