“The Big Bang Theory” star Jim Parsons will host “Saturday Night Live” when it returns following the Olympics — and the departure of Seth Meyers — on March 1.

The March 1 episode will mark Parsons’ hosting debut on the late-night institution. Beck, who’ll be promoting his upcoming album “Morning Phase,” has appeared on the show six times before.

Meyers, who served as anchor of the show’s news segment “Weekend Update,” is assuming hosting duties on NBC’s “Late Night.” He’s taking over for fellow “SNL” alum Jimmy Fallon, who’s taking over “The Tonight Show.”
