Give Jim Carrey credit — he’s not afraid of expanding his artistic horizons.
Carrey, who’s practically made a second career out of his Trump-skewering artwork of late, stepped things up a notch on Friday, expanding into the animated realm with his latest work.
Carrey’s subject this time: former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who this week made headlines thanks to the release of a secretly recorded tape of he and Trump discussing a possible payout to former Playboy model Karen McDougal, and the accusation that Trump was aware of a 2016 meeting between his campaign officials and a group of Russians.
Playing off of the perception that Cohen is preparing to turn on his former client, Carrey dubbed his latest project Michael Cohen Flips.
The artwork itself consisted of a GIF of Cohen, in stark black and white, the colors inverting rhythmically.
In addition to serving as a new medium for Carrey, is a very mesmerizing sight to gaze upon for a few minutes on a Friday afternoon when we all deserve to chill out and give our brains a little break.
As has been his wont lately, Carrey included a link to the voter registration site Vote.gov with Friday’s work.
