Jim Carrey didn’t let President Trump’s on-again, off-again threat of an airstrike against Iran Friday slide without capturing his thoughts in a new art piece.
In the actor’s latest work of art, President Trump is depicted as a naked, pacifier-sucking baby, playing with a mobile of dangling objects associated with war, like a tank, a bomb, a drone, an aircraft carrier and even a lifeless body.
Baby Trump is diaperless in the drawing, relieving himself on a map of the Middle East.
The caption reads: “Our Persia policy is being plotted by puerile profiteers who paint with their poop.”
A perilous situation heated up on Wednesday when AP reported that an unmanned U.S. drone was shot down in international airspace above the Strait of Hormuz, contradicting a statement from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard that the aircraft entered Iranian airspace.
In a Friday tweet, President Trump said he was “cocked and loaded to retaliate” by striking Iranian targets, but “10 minutes before the strike I stopped it.”
