Jillian Rose Reed of MTV’s “Awkward” sat down with TheWrap’s Rebecca Rosenberg to chat about her character’s devastating break-up with her boyfriend, Jake, in this episode of Drinking With the Stars.
“It’s been kind of a weird relationship, it started in a strange place,” Reed said. “It kind of developed into this love they have for each other. And really I consider this to be Tamara’s first true love. And it’s high school, so obviously everything’s always really dramatic.”

Reed also dishes with TheWrap about a certain new character, Eva, the new girl who is poised to add much more drama to the mix.
“She’s the new girl in school, and she’s like the cool [girl] from New York, everybody wants to be her and be friends with her,” Reed said. “She does befriend our little group and intertwine herself in all of our lives. I think that can’t go on for too much longer, because come on! I mean, you get this new spicy girl in the mix and something’s gonna go down.”
