Jessica Lange Joins Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s ‘American Horror Story’

Actress joins one-hour drama pilot from “Glee” creators

Jessica Lange has been cast in Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's FX pilot "American Horror Story," TheWrap has confirmed.

If picked up, the series would be the first for Lange, who won an Emmy for lead actress in a miniseries or movie for HBO's "Grey Gardens." The two time-Oscar winnner (for "Blue Sky" and "Tootsie") joins the previously cast Connir Britton ("Friday Night Lights") and Denis O'Hare.

"Horror Story" brings Murphy and Falchuk back to FX, home to "Nip/Tuck," their series before "Glee." "American Horror Story," a one-hour drama, is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television, which confirmed Lange has joined the pilot.
