Wedding bells are ringing on the season premiere of “New Girl.”
No, Jess and the boys aren’t walking down the aisle, but one of their mutual friends is.

Also in attendance at the ceremony is guest star Jessica Biel. That could be a problem for Zooey Deschanel, who is trying her hardest to get some lovin’ at the wedding.
Can she compete with Biel? Whether she can or can’t, Jess gets plenty of terrible advice from the gang, which awkwardly includes her ex-boyfriend, Nick (Jake Johnson).

As we know from the episodic description that came out this summer, Biel and Deschanel will spar over the prime bachelor at the reception. By the looks of the clip embedded above, the former “7th Heaven” star has the upper hand.
Season 4 of “New Girl” kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
