MTV has released the first full-length trailer for “Jersey Shore Family Vacation,” giving the first extended look at Snooki and the gang back in action.
“We’re older, but I don’t think many of us are wiser,” original cast member Ronnie Ortiz-Magro says at one point in the trailer, after sharing the fact that he’s a soon-to-be father. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi also chimes in on their advanced age: “As we age, we just get more … delinquency? What’s the word?”
The show follows “Jersey Shore” housemates Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio,” Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronie Ortiz-Magro, Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino as they reunite for the “Family Vacation” spinoff, over five years after the original went off the air.
But judging by the trailer, they’ll be up to many of their same old antics, including drinking, partying, eating pizza and, yes, “GTL.”
The trailer also touches on Sorrentino’s recent tax evasion case, for which he faces up to five years in prison. “Dude, prison’s no joke. It’s scary. He’s literally not gonna survive,” Polizzi says.
“Jersey Shore Family Vacation” doesn’t premiere until April 5, but MTV has already renewed the show for a second season. The network has also slated a countdown of four “Road to Vacation” specials that will look back on iconic moments from the original series each Thursday until the premiere.
