Sorry, Jimmy Fallon: Jerry Seinfeld is still the best Jerry Seinfeld we’ve got.
The two comedians went head-to-head on Thanksgiving in “The Tonight Show’s” first-ever “Stand-Up Battle.” Using a random routine generator, Jimmy and Jerry performed dueling bits from Seinfeld’s stand-up comedy career.
First, Seinfeld did his “Wait Up” Halloween-inspired setup and punchlines. Next, Fallon took on Jerry’s take on “Star Wars.”
Fans should recognize Seinfeld’s “Pizza Hut” jokes, which are probably the best from the Thursday segment. Fallon had to follow that up with “Rubber Dividers,” which is about the supermarket checkout line’s sticks of demarcation.
The “Seinfeld” alum and “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” star closed with “Birthday Clown,” proving once-again that he’s the better Jerry Seinfeld.
