Jerry Seinfeld Releases Joke Archives — Bit by Bit

Comedian will release three routines a day, starting with jokes about horses, the fattest man in the world, and the newspaper

Jerry Seinfeld celebrated the 30th anniversary of his first national broadcast appearance by releasing JerrySeinfeld.com, an archive of his routines, on Friday.

Seinfeld will release three routines a day, and will try to keep things topical, despite the jokes' age — Saturday's bits will all be horse-related in honor of the Kentucky Derby. He'll also mix in "stuff I'm doing now," he posted on the site.

"Somewhere out there are ten year olds just waiting to get hooked on this strange pursuit," Seinfeld wrote. "This is for them. I'm just hoping somehow it will keep this silliness going."

The first is Seinfeld's "The Fattest Man in the World" routine, from his May 6, 1981 appearance on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson."

Seinfeld has been in a reflective mood lately, also looking back on his career — and what makes jokes work — with Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais, and Louis CK on HBO's "Talking Funny."
