Jerry Bruckheimer’s ‘Dark Blue’ Will Be Back

TNT renews the Dylan McDermott police drama for a second season that will begin in June

Jerry Bruckheimer’s TNT drama "Dark Blue" has been renewed for a second season of 10 episodes.

An insider close to the production, as well as a TNT rep, confirmed the renewal. The series will return in June.

"Blue" had been on the bubble as TNT figured out its 2010 roster. The network recently canceled the Steven Bocho series "Raising the Bar" and picked up a package of repeat and unaired episodes of NBC’s "Southland."

"Dark Blue" stars Dylan McDermott as the leader of an undercover squad. Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Danny Cannon and Doug Jung are executive producers; KristieAnne Reed is co-executive producer.

The series is produced by Bruckheimer Television and Warner Horizon.
