Jeremy Piven was accused Wednesday of “predatory behavior” by “Longmire” and “Smallville” actress Cassidy Freeman, who said in a post on Instagram that “I know what you did and attempted to do to me when I was far too young.”
It’s the second accusation of sexual misconduct against Piven, coming one day after reality TV personality Araiane Bellamar said that he groped her several years ago on the set of HBO’s “Entourage.”
Freeman’s accusation was posted in response to a statement Piven released on Tuesday “unequivocally” denying Bellamar’s “appalling allegations” against him.
“You will deny this because, sadly, she’s deniable,” Freeman wrote. “The backlash this woman received was horrendous. And whether or not her accusations are true, the TRUTH is I know you. I know what you did and attempted to do to me when I was far too young. THAT I know. And you know it too.”
“Unless there were so many of us that you can’t remember,” she continued. “Predatory behavior is a chronic way for you to seek power.”
Freeman did not describe in any detail what she accused Piven of doing. But she ended her post with, “I hope from now on, you keep it in your pants, and you never get to do it again.”
Piven’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment about Freeman’s message. Her post is below.
A CBS representative said in a statement Tuesday that the network is “looking into” Bellamar’s accusations.
