Jennifer Lawrence won a Golden Globe last year for “Silver Linings Playbook,” but that didn’t make her acceptance speech this year any easier: Lawrence earned the Best Supporting Actress prize for her performance in David O. Russell’s “American Hustle,” and though a capable and funny speaker on most occasions, Lawrence was visibly nervous and confessed to shaking.
“I don’t know what it’s so terrifying – this is obviously a good thing,” Lawrence said. She opened her acceptance speech by thanking Russell, who also directed her in “American Hustle.” She described him as the “most brilliant man in every single way,” citing his many credits, from “Flirting with Disaster” to “I heart Huckabees.”

Her mind then jumped form subject to subject, thanking the women in her category before professing to watch every movie this year.
Well, not all of them, prompting co-star Bradley Cooper to laugh.

“I’m sorry I’m shaking so much; don’t ever do this again.”
