While you’re still celebrating the ability to binge-watch “Friends” in 2019 on Netflix, Jennifer Aniston is talking about a reunion. On Thursday’s “Late Late Show,” the woman behind Rachel is ready to do more original episodes of the classic “Must-See TV” NBC sitcom.
Oh, and so are Monica (Courteney Cox) and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), she says.
“Listen, the girls always say we would love to do it again, and the boys are a little less excited about it for some reason — I don’t know,” Aniston told James Corden last night. “And so, we’ve decided that we’ll just do … a remake of ‘The Golden Girls’ in 40 years.”
While she’s made the “Golden Girls” quip before, it sounded like the female trio is actually down for whatever.
“Just try to go out on wicker chairs,” Aniston said.
You might want to knock it off with the foolish pride, Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Ross (David Schwimmer). After all, if Netflix is willing to pay damn near $100 million for reruns …
