Jenna Elfman has been cast in ABC’s comedy pilot from Adam F. Goldberg and David Guaracio.
She will star as Alice, a thirty-something bachelorette whose life is turned upside-down when she finally meets the love of her life — a divorced father of three, played by Stephen Schneider (“You’re the Worst”). This triggers even more upheaval when her slightly unhinged imaginary friend Mary, whom she created as an only child, suddenly reappears in her life to help her navigate the transition from single girl to a woman ready for a family.
The untitled project from the “Goldbergs” duo hails from Sony Pictures Television. Goldberg and Guaracio wrote the script, and will serve as executive producers with Happy Madison’s Doug Robinson. Shawn Levy will direct.
Elfman most recently starred on “Growing Up Fisher,” which aired for one season on NBC.
