Jeanine Pirro Cancels ‘Sean Hannity Show’ Appearance Due to ‘Serious Family Emergency’ (Video)

Appearance would have been her return to Fox News after a two-week absence following comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar

Judge Jeanine Pirro’s slated appearance on Friday night’s “The Sean Hannity Show” was cancelled due to what Hannity called a “serious family emergency.”

Pirro’s Fox News show “Justice With Judge Jeanine” hasn’t aired since March 9, when she suggested on-air that Rep. Ilhan Omar may not fully support the United States Constitution because she is a Muslim. The scheduled appearance on Hannity’s show would have been her return to the network.

At the end of Hannity’s show Friday night, he said, “Before I go, I had promoted yesterday and on my radio show today that Judge Jeanine Pirro would be joining us tonight on the program.”

He added, “She had a really serious family emergency come up, couldn’t be with us. I don’t know the nature of it. We always pray for her.”

Although “Justice With Judge Jeanine” is back on Fox’s schedule in its regular 9 p.m. time slot Saturday night after the two-week absence, it is still unclear if the family emergency will postpone her return. “Please tune in this evening,” a Fox News spokesperson tells TheWrap.

The same spokesperson who was contacted for comment referred a reporter to Hannity’s statement.
