Jason Segel dropped in on Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show,” and the pair soon got embroiled in a goofy game of Word Sneak.
Each player got cards with random words, such as frankfurter or Norway, and then had to work them into a casual conversation, which is a lot easier said than done.
The “Sex Tape” actor first had to tackle the word “mongoose,” which he managed to merge into a chat about the hot New York summer, but blundered by blurting out “mongoose” instead.
Meanwhile, Fallon has become an expert at his own games, and even managed to smoothly slip “squat thrust” into conversation, complete with a physical demonstration.
The name of “Today” show film critic Gene Shalit was a much bigger challenge for Segel, however, which he phonetically turned into a reference to denim and vegetables by saying “jean shallot.”
Ultimately, Segel was slain by “Slim Jim,” and Fallon was crowned the victor — yet again.
“The Tonight Show” airs at 11.35 p.m. on NBC.
