Jason Segel and Drew Pearce have sold a pitch based on Andrea Blaugrund Nevins's documentary "The Other F Word" to Fox, an individual with knowledge of the deal told TheWrap.
Segel, pictured left, is also attached to star in the film, which both he and Pearce will write and executive produce.
Nevins' documentary depicts aging punk rockers as they transition from life on stage to life at home with their families. Featuring interviews with the likes of Blink 182's Mark Hoppus and Tony Hawk the documentary focuses in particular on the onset of fatherhood.
Segel, who wrote and produced this year's "The Five-Year Engagement," will next be seen in Judd Apatow's "This Is 40," due in December, and next year's "The End of the World."
Pearce wrote "Iron Man 3" for Marvel and is on board for Legendary's "Godzilla."
