The team behind award-winning Sundance film "Ain't Them Bodies Saints" has set its next project, tapping Jason Schwartzman and Elisabeth Moss to star in writer-director Alex Ross Perry's indie drama "Listen Up Philip," TheWrap has learned.
The New York-set indie follows newly accomplished writer Philip (Schwartzman) and those affected by his poor decisions — in particular his successful art-photographer girlfriend Ashley (Moss).
The project comes from Sailor Bear Films principals and longtime collaborators James M. Johnston, Toby Halbrooks and David Lowery, who directed "Saints."

Principal photography is slated to begin this fall.
Perry attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and worked at Manhattan's iconic Kim’s Video until he quit to make his first film "Impolex." His second film, "The Color Wheel," was distributed theatrically in the U.S. and France in 2012 and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award.
“As I enter my 10th year in the city — and thus finally become a real New Yorker — I finally feel ready to make an impression on the grand and treasured history of New York movies," said Perry.
The Sailor Bear Films trio of Johnston, Halbrooks and Lowery, long-time friends and collaborators, joined forces to make the critically acclaimed short film "Pioneer," which won the Grand Jury Prize at seven film festivals around the world. They later landed Rooney Mara, Casey Affleck and Ben Foster to star in "Saints," which IFC Films will release on Aug. 16.

Schwartzman, who is about to start shooting Tim Burton's "Big Eyes," will soon be seen alongside Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks in Disney's "Saving Mr. Banks," which hits theaters in December. He's represented by WME and attorney Warren Dern.
Moss, who has received four Emmy nominations for her portrayal of Peggy Olson on AMC's hit series "Mad Men," recently starred in Jane Campion's "Top of the Lake" and Walter Salles' adaptation of "On the Road." She's repped by WME and manager Gay Ribisi.
