9021-oh, no, Jason Priestley!
“Beverly Hills, 90210” alum Priestley was hospitalized this week, after being tossed from a horse while filming his upcoming TV series “The Code.”
The actor confirmed that he “got my bell rung pretty good” during the mishap, suffering a concussion.
“Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words… It’s true, I did get thrown off a horse on set… I got my bell rung pretty good,” the actor tweeted Wednesday.
“Because I have a history of concussions, they took me to see a neurologist for an assessment. He advised I take a few days off as I had suffered a concussion,” Priestley, 46, noted.
Luckily, the actor said, his recovery is coming along nicely.
“I am definitely on the mend and looking forward to getting back to work with all the wonderful people on The Code,” Priestley said.
Priestley’s series, which is set to premiere on Canada’s Global network in the spring, is described as “a rousing P.I. procedural with a wry wit that combines drama, humor, and romance.”
Priestley plays Matt “Shadow” Shade, an ex-pro hockey player who uses his ability to read people and anticipate their moves in his new gig as a crime-solving private investigator.
