Jasmine Madatian, head of communications the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences for a little over a year, is leaving her post to reboot her PR and consulting firm.
Madatian will continue to work with Oscar show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron on PR strategy — but as head of her consultancy AshTam, rather than a full-time AMPAS employee.

Before joining the Academy, Madatian was consulting on film releases through AshTam, following stints as head of publicity at Disney and Paramount.
