Jamie Foxx and his production company, Foxxhole Productions, have struck a multiyear first-look deal with Fox Entertainment Studios.

As part of this partnership, Foxx will serve as an executive producer and content originator for scripted projects across comedy, drama and animation. When it comes to unscripted projects, Fox Entertainment Studios will also have exclusive rights to Foxx’s projects and producing services. Foxx and his team will start developing projects for the studio immediately.

“We are ready and excited to kick-start this very promising new creative partnership with Jamie as we build on Fox’s longtime association with him — initiated by our CEO Rob Wade and network president Michael Thorn,” Fernando Szew, president and head of Fox Entertainment Studios, said in a Wednesday statement.
