James Marsden will star alongside Elizabeth Banks in “Walk of Shame,” Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment announced on Thursday.
Steven Brill wrote and will direct the film, which stars Banks as a news anchor who gets locked out of her home after a late night on the town.
Stranded without a phone, money, an ID or a car, she embarks on a series of misguided adventures before a crucial job interview.
Marsden, known for his roles in “X-Men,” “27 Dresses” and as Liz Lemon's new husband in "30 Rock," will play Banks' love interest. He will next appear alongside Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington in “2 Guns” and Forest Whitaker in “The Butler.”
FilmDistrict will distribute this film domestically, while Lakeshore and Sierra/Affinity are shopping it internationally. Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg and Garry Lucchesi will produce with Sidney Kimmel.
