Every once in while, Twitter will remind us why we deal with its vortex and deliver a perfect tweet on a random Wednesday afternoon. Today is one of those times.
In a diss at CNN’s Jake Tapper, Bill O’Reilly touted Sean Hannity’s ratings on Twitter. While Hannity’s 9 p.m. slot on Fox News had more than 3.1 million viewers on Tuesday — ahead of Tapper’s 835,000 at 4 p.m. — primetime shows usually have more viewers than shows airing during the day.
“Sean Hannity kicking serious butt in the ratings. Tapper on CNN as low as you can go,” O’Reilly tweeted.
Tapper retweeted the dig with one of his own — and one that you can’t really argue with.
“”Low” would be sexually harassing staffers and then getting fired for it — humiliated in front of the world. Now THAT would be low,” the CNN host wrote.

O’Reilly was ousted from Fox News in April for several allegations of sexual harassment against him.
The shut down has inspired dozens of hilarious responses. See below.
