Jack Wagner is no doubt heaving a sigh of relief right now.
The veteran soap opera actor, known for his roles on “General Hospital” and “The Bold and the Beautiful,” has revealed that his 21-year-old son Harrison has resurfaced, after disappearing for five days following a substance-related relapse.
“Harrison’s been in touch, he’s 21 & in charge of his life,” the actor tweeted on Monday. “ty for the lv & prayers, please continue to share your struggles, it helps us all.”
Just hours earlier, the actor revealed to his Twitter followers that Harrison, his son with his ex-wife an former “General Hospital” co-star Kristina Wagner, had gone missing.
“I fear for my youngest son’s safety,” the actor tweeted. “Harrison has struggled w drugs & alcohol just as I did when I was younger. He’s relapsed & is MIA 5days.”
Between the two tweets, the actor invited his Twitter followers to share their own struggles, particularly with family members dealing with substance abuse.
He also noted that he has been a member of the organization Alanon, which provides support for relatives of alcoholics, for nine years.
In addition to Harrison, Wagner and his former wife also have another son, Peter.
