Jack Horner, News Corp. PR Executive, Heading to Warner Bros.

New York-based News Corp. spokesman Jack Horner will fill a senior film publicity position at Warner Bros. starting next month

News Corp. communications executive Jack Horner is coming to Warner Bros. in a senior publicity job in its motion picture unit.

The studio wasn't commenting Sunday, but a source with knowledge of the situation said that Horner is expected to start work next month and that his arrival will not result in anyone's displacement.

Horner has been a public spokesman for Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. as its New York-based VP of corporate affairs and communications.

Horner is expected to work on closely with film chief Jeff Robinov and marketing head Sue Kroll.

Key upcoming titles include Ben Affleck's "Argo," Clint Eastwood's "Trouble with the Curve," Peter Jackson's "two "Hobbit" films, Ruben Fleischer's "Gangster Squad," Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel," Bryan Singer's "Jack the Giant Killer," Guillermo Del Toro's "Pacific Rim" and Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby."
