Issa Rae took to social media Tuesday morning to answer some of her fans’ burning questions, but more importantly she let everyone know when Season 2 of her hit HBO show “Insecure” will premiere.
“I need you to mark your calendars for July 23, because it’s about to get hot this summer,” Rae said Tuesday in an Instagram video.

Season 1 of the show aired its last episode on Nov. 27, 2016 and not only left us on a major cliffhanger, but there were many unanswered questions — chief among them: How could Lawrence do that? I mean, Issa kind of deserved it. But what about Molly?!
Rae slyly evaded answering spoiler-y questions saying, “no comment,” every time one popped up during the the Q&A. She did give fans one reassuring detail, however: Lawrence is still the fine and sexy man we left in Season 1.
“Insecure” follows two friends, Issa Rae and Yvonne Orji, as they navigate life, relationships and work in Los Angeles through the perspective of the black female experience.
