Producers Arnon Milchan and Mace Neufeld will be honored at the Opening Night Gala of the 28th Israel Film Festival, the organizers announced Thursday.
Milchan will receive the 2014 IFF Visionary Award, and Neufeld will receive the 2014 IFF Lifetime Achievement Award.

“We are thrilled to honor producers Arnon Milchan and Mace Neufeld this year for their impressive individual contributions to the film industry,” said Meir Fenigstein, Founder and Executive Director of IsraFest Foundation, Inc., in a statement. “Their iconic films have entertained audiences around the world.”
Milchan, the founder of New Regency Productions, has over 100 feature film credits including 2014 Best Picture Oscar winner “12 Years a Slave.” Other notable credits include such classics as “Pretty Woman,” “War of the Roses” and “Free Willy,” while upcoming releases include “Gone Girl” and “Birdman.”

Neufeld is the producer responsible for five of the Jack Ryan franchise installments, “The Hunt for Red October,” “Patriot Games,” “Clear and Present Danger,” “The Sum of All Fears” and the most recent “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit” starring Chris Pine. Upcoming credit includes “The Equalizer” starring Denzel Washington.
The 28th annual Israel Film Festival will kick off with an Opening Night Gala on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Steve Tisch Cinema Center, Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, Calif.
