The tabloids insist that Tori Spelling‘s husband Dean McDermott’s been naughty this year. Seeking a second opinion, he turned up to face judgment from the fat bearded guy from the North Pole on Saturday afternoon.
The Andaz in West Hollywood became “Santa’s Secret Workshop”, the 4th annual Santa Claus meet-and-greet, ornament workshop, and gifting suite limited to only baby and child products with a guestlist that included Hollywood parents Kristin Davis, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Lisa Ling, Donald Fasion and Cacee Cobb, Ian Ziering, and Majandra Delfino in addition to Spelling and McDermott.
The annual huddle is the brainchild of Bill Horn and Scout Masterson, the husband-and-husband team frequently branded as “The Guncles,” stemming their time on pal Spelling and McDermott’s reality series.
Horn, a PR veteran of BWR, MPRM, and Joe Francis’ empire during its early 2000’s heyday before forming his own Marque Communications, came understated in multicolored holiday sweater with giant letters saying “Fruit Cake”. However on Saturday, the requested welcome gifts delved towards the tail end of the holiday cake business.

Guests brought diapers and “wipes” for charity partner, L.A. Family Housing, which helps families transition from homelessness with job training and residential support.
“Forget presents. Not all kids have diapers,” Gellar said inside the event. “It’s been really special for me to merge my two traditions this year, which is gift giving and the experience of the holidays, but also about giving back.”
Giving back or giving to others, holiday shopping slackers beware. You suddenly have just over two weeks until Santa comes back.
