Iggy Azalea leads the pool of nominees for the 2014 American Music Awards. The fan-voted awards were revealed by Charli XCX, who will perform during the show, and Jason Derulo. The awards ceremony will broadcast live on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
With six nominations, Azalea barely edged out John Legend, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams, who each scored five. Other multiple-award nominees include Bastille, Beyoncé, Luke Bryan, Drake, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, Lorde, One Direction, OneRepublic and Sam Smith.

Artist of the Year nominees increased from 5 to 10 this year, including Iggy Azalea, Beyoncé, Luke Bryan, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, John Legend, Lorde, One Direction, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams.
Also seeing an increase, from 3 to 5 nominees, was Single of the Year. Nominees include “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea featuring Charlie XCX, “All of Me” by John Legend, “Rude” by Magic!, “Dark Horse” by Katy Perry featuring Juicy J, and “Happy” by Pharrell Williams.

Winners are selected via online and Twitter voting beginning Monday, Oct. 13. Fans can vote once per day at AMAvote.com, and once per day via Twitter by writing a nominee’s name and category with #AMAs in the tweet. New Artist of the Year voting opens Nov. 11 and will continue through the first hour of the live broadcast, with fans casting their votes the same way.
“The 2014 American Music Awards” will broadcast life from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, preceded by the “Coca-Cola Red Carpet Live! @ The 2014 AMAs” pre-show streaming live at 5 p.m. ET on TheAMAs.com and ABC.com.
