IFC is taking viewers back to “Portlandia,” as the hit comedy starring Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstien will debut its fifth season on January 8 at 10 p.m.
Armisen and Brown won’t be a short on comedy stars to help bring the laughs as the season unfolds.
A laundry list of upcoming cameos includes Seth Meyers, Jeff Goldblum,ย Vanessa Bayer, Ed Begley Jr., Steve Buscemi, Greta Gerwig, Anna Gunn, Justin Long, Jane Lynch, Natasha Lyonne, Kyle MacLachlan, Kumail Nanjiani, Brigitte Nielsen, Parker Posey, Paul Reubens and Olivia Wilde.
Additional guests Shepard Fairey, “The Simpsons” creator Matt Groening,ย Paul Simon andย Oscar the Grouch will be glimpsed as well.
