Fox's "Ice Age: Continental Drift' continued to pile up the dollars and records at the international box office this weekend, adding $16.2 million from 62 markets.
It is now No. 3 on the list of all-time animated moneymakers overseas with an overall foreign gross of $623.6 million. That's behind only "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" ($694 million) and "Toy Story" ($649 million).
A strong $3.7 million third weekend in China upped the total from that country to $51 million.
Sony’s “Total Recall” expanded to 38 markets and grossed an estimated $18.7 million this weekend on 3,990 foreign screens.

That brings its international total to $27.5 million and the overall worldwide gross to $71.7 million after two weeks.
It opened No. 1 in Russia with $6 million and was the top Hollywood film in Japan with $3.5 million.
Disney and Pixar’s “Brave” added another $17.2 million from 40 markets, upping its overall international gross to $147 million and its worldwide total to $374.4 million.
Universal bowed “Bourne Legacy” in 13 smaller regions in Asia and Eastern Europe and grossed an estimated $7.8 million from 694 dates.
It was No. 1 in the Philippines with $2.7 million, the biggest opening ever for Universal in that market, and tops in Singapore with $1.4 million.
Next week, it opens in Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Spain and the U.K. and Ireland.
Sony's “Amazing Spider-Man” brought in another $3 million and now stands at $435.1 million overseas, with a worldwide total of $690.6 million.
