Advance planners, rejoice: Tickets to "The Hunger Games" will go on sale on Feb. 22 — a month and a day before the movie hits theaters.
Tickets will be on sale at www.movietickets.com and at www.fandango.com, Lionsgate announced Monday.
The movie will be released March 23.
Expect "The Hunger Games" to be big. The movie is based on Suzanne Collins' bestselling young adult novel — a phenomenon in itself.

Gary Ross is directing the movie, which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
The movie is set in a dystopic future. Once a year, the government forces each of its 12 districts to send one teen-aged boy and one teen-aged girl to compete in the "Hunger Games," a nationally televised fight in which teens compete to the death.
