"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" first footage has been released in the form of a teaser teasing the release of a teaser trailer during this month's MTV Movie Awards.
The MTV commercial is only a short glimpse, but it does provide the franchise's die-hard fans the first look at Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) being introduced as victors of the 74th annual Hunger Game competition.

Liam Hemsworth, who plays Gale in Lionsgate's tentpole sequel, will introduce the full two-and-a-half-minute clip during the award show on April 14.
"Catching Fire," hitting theaters Nov. 22, follows the two Hunger Games champions during the "Victor's Tour" throughout the twelve districts of Panem, which are on the heels of rebellion as President Snow prepares for The Quarter Quell — the 75th Hunger Games competition that could change the post-apocalyptic nation forever.
